no new jewelry or clothing unless its one of the best "christina" things you've ever seen. hope that's enough for you.

i'm at this weird point in my life where everything is ending and beginning all at once. can't really have one without the other, right? all i'm doing is trying to hold onto myself, while i'm waiting for the real things to begin. it's ridiculous to be thinking about this when i'm only nineteen years old. i guess i'm just really eager to become the best version of myself. i should be reveling in the fact that the best is yet to come, that there's more for me to see and do, that there is something for me to keep reaching for.
( but it's easy to lose sight of that, maybe. )

still working on knowing my future work schedule -
im planning that clothes exchange/giveaway to be sometime in the end of july, early august. well, theres no other time it can be really so heh sorry for being vague. i guess i just wanted to let people know that if you plan on going - to start cleaning out your own closets now so you'll be ready to bring them for other people. this includes accessories, purses, picture frames, jewelry, misc things that you think you're not gonna ever use but someone else might want. anything that doesnt find a new home, i'll take to goodwill.
hopefully this get-together is good incentive

i'm having an opening at old school square's cornell museum next thursday, june 29th.
anyone who is gonna go to see my work gets to get in free. so, tell me if you want to go, so i can put you on the list. the event is from 6 pm to 9 pm and its during the downtown delray event, Art & Jazz and Gallery Stroll. i think there's also live music outside of the museum.
SO. gather your friends and/or family and make a night of it. i dont have any new pieces, but if you've never gone to see them, its worth it, especially to get to see the other works for free too. SO yeah. drop a comment.

alright. so like everyone, i had the awesomest night at prom. i couldnt have wished for a better night, and nothing went wrong at all. which is the first time in a very very long time. as always, i have some great pictures (some candid, some not) and i only uploaded a few to photobucket. i'll get all of them fullsize (over 100!!) onto webshots sometime this week, just keep checkin. but for now, enjoy my personal experience of prom.

ATTENTION EVERYONE WHO LOVES GETTING CHRISTINA'S OLD CLOTHES.
i just cleaned out my drawers, yet again. if i could, i'd take digi pics to show you what the available items are. but i dont have the time, so you just have to trust my descriptions. a lot of them have been worn, some once, some a lot, and some never. a lot of the sizes arent accurate because they have been washed and worn. usually they are smaller than what the label says. for instance a size 8 sometimes seems like a size 4. if you would like any of these pieces of clothing, comment with the numbers you're interested in and then i can pretty much tell whether you'd fit into it and like it. thanks!

ART CLUB CAR WASH.
hey, so art club is having a car wash on sunday by the walmart on military and linton. ANYONE NEED CREATIVITY CAS HOURS? it'll count, because all donations collected will be going to the art dept and the senior art scholarship.
NOVEMBER 13th, 10am to 2pm.
if you wanna come, please tell me. we need lots of people and we need supplies like towels, soap, and sponges. i welcome anyone that wants to come help. if we can all go, it'd be really great to spend time with everyone while making money. so please please please consider it! spread the word, its something productive and fun to do, you can bring whoever you want.
and who says you have to go to atlantic in order to raise money for atlantic? yes, i'm talking to you!

zhang ziyi is getting a lot of work.
last weekend i saw a movie. called 2046. it was interesting, i think im pretty sure i liked it. but it was a pretty emotionally tiring movie. sort of sad, sort of not. i wish i could have seen it with someone *coughashleycough* instead of my freaking parents who liked to talk during so much of it. i really liked the music they used too. take a look at some beautiful samples.

the next "asian" movie i am awaiting is memoirs of a geisha. however, its in english, and thus i sorta feel like its tailored just to capitalize on asian romanticism (as if it were a supplement to the last samurai). i never read the book. maybe i should. i just love the beauty of some asian film. it just makes the world look more beautiful and sad at the same time.

there's loneliness everywhere, so we have nothing to lose. the music plays all day long, and sorrow looks beautiful. and lovers seem mystical.
